Math is Hard!

September 18, 2013

Today I had:

  • 2  appointments with specialists.  The first specialist wrote
  • 1 new prescription, a much dreaded one with incredibly difficult dosing instructions such as “Take
  • 6 times a day with food”.   She also prescribed physical therapy for
  • 2 to 3 times a week for
  • 4 to 6 weeks to maybe keep me from falling down so often.  She also prescribed
  • 2 additional tests and advised that I call her in
  • 2 weeks and come back to see her in
  • 3 months.  The second specialist performed
  • 3 tests, but I flunked
  • 2 of them.  I will retake
  • 1 tomorrow and the other in
  • 4 weeks.
  • 1 was an ongoing issue and the other
  • 1 is something quite scary that I can’t bring myself to talk about (or even think about) yet.  She also recommended
  • 3 additional tests with other specialists.  I don’t have another regular appointment with her for
  • 1 year.

In between appointments I spent some lazy time browsing in Sephora.  I thought that some new eye-liner would work as a little pick-me-up, but I didn’t know just how wrecked I was going to be by the end of the day.  I have a feeling that I will be a bit weepy tonight and the new eye-liner will wash off.

I will certainly write more about what happened today, once I can bear to think about it.
